With the rear seats folding, there are 106 cubic feet of storage space. The 2022 Transit Connect Passenger Wagon has a capacity for up to seven passengers and the opportunity to customize the interior to fit your needs. Behind the front seats, the cargo floor is less than two feet high, and the maximum load height is 43.3 inches. For compatible devices, a wireless inductive phone charger is provided, which allows you to charge your phone just by setting it down, without the need for ports, plugs, or charging cables. You and your passengers may enjoy the sun and stars while driving with the optional panoramic fixed-glass Vista Roof, which also includes a motorized shade.

Exciting Tech

The Transit Connect Passenger Wagon contains a number of features that help you be aware of your surroundings and changing traffic conditions. From the driveway to the highway, the available Ford Co-Pilot360 driver-assist technologies keep you connected and confident on the road. Forward sensors will emit a high-pitched beeping tone if something is in front of you while your vehicle is in Drive and driving slowly. The beeps become faster as you approach closer to an object, and within 12 inches, they form a solid tone. The sensors turn off when you put your vehicle in Park or Neutral. In the same way, the Reverse Sensing System uses sensors in the back bumper.

Safety and Security

In slick conditions, Roll Stability Control (RSC) gives you better control. RSC employs gyroscopic sensors to track vehicle roll motion and turning velocity in milliseconds, allowing for improved side-slip control and electronic rollover stability. RSC can utilize this information to determine when and how to apply the brakes to keep the vehicle firmly planted on all four wheels. In low-light situations or when the wipers are activated in the Automatic mode, which is standard on the Titanium and available on the XLT, the optional high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps turn on automatically.

Capable and Rugged

Depending on your demands, Transit Connect Passenger Wagon models are available with either 180-degree 50/50 swing-out rear cargo doors or a rear liftgate. The Titanium variant has only a liftgate, but dual folding side doors are standard. With a turning diameter of 40.0 feet, the 2022 Transit Connect Passenger Wagon is a natural for driving into smaller parking spaces or maneuvering around tight situations. When towing is required, the Transit Connect with the Trailer Tow Prep Package has a towing capacity of up to 2,000 pounds. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) checks the amount of air pressure in each tire and displays a warning light on the cluster screen if the pressure in any of your tires falls below the recommended tire inflation level.
